A bulldozer operator with the 277th Engineer Company, based in San Antonio completes the ripping process for the reshaping of a roadway on Victory Base Complex. The dozer uses its digging asset to tear up the roadway to allow for the grader to come through and complete the reshaping of the road.

The engineers of the 277th Engineer Company, 46th Engineer Combat Battalion (Heavy), use a bucket loader asset to scoop the debris off the streets during a route sanitation mission. The loader operator would clear all debris from the streets and load it into the 20-ton dump trucks. The dump trucks haul the debris from the roadway and move it to the trash sites.

A 20-ton dump truck driver from the 277th Engineer Company, based in San Antonio, hauls gravel that will be emplaced on the road. The engineers have just completed road repairs to a vital road that connects Camps Liberty and Victory. Once the road was completed, July 6, traffic was able to drive over smooth and much-improved roads, making it safer to travel on the base.

The final process of the road improvements conducted on Strawberry Hill, on the Victory Base Complex was to run the smooth faced roller across the road and provide a finished look to the road. The heavy equipment operators of the 277th Engineer Company, based in San Antonio, used the roller to shift the surface and the earth beneath the roller and make proper compaction on the road.
