Sgt. 1st Class Kirsten Froelich, a native of Snohomish, Wash., promotes her nephew, Sgt. Beau Froelich, a native of Lake Stevens, Wash., to the rank of staff sergeant at the Mayor's Cell at Contingency Operating Base Q-West, Iraq, April 7. Both are assigned to 81st Brigade Special Troops Battalion in the base defense operations center at Q-West. The 81st BSTB, Washington Army National Guard, is based out of Everett, Wash.
