Congratulations to the newly promoted Sgt. Billy Wong of Irvine, Calif. Sgt. 1st Class Jason Appleton of Los Angeles recommended Wong for promotion for his great work in the 419th Combat Sustainment Support Battalion, 10th Sustainment Brigade, Transportation Support section. Wong oversees all the cargo from the 419th CSSB that leaves Camp Taji, Iraq.

1st Lt. Latefa Muslim Ali, of Al Taji, Iraq, is one of less than 1,000 women serving in the Iraqi army. Ali serves as the first female medical officer. All that was present congratulated Ali for breaking down Iraq gender barriers.
