An artillery battery from 1st Battalion, 11th Marines, 1st Marine Division, is set up and prepared for fire missions during desert fire exercise, May 1. They move from position to position up to three times a day. Between their set ups, they are resupplied by Combat Logistics Battalion 7, Combat Logistics Regiment 1, 1st Marine Logistics Group. Supplying fuel, water and chow, CLB-7 links up with the 11th Marine Regiment a few times a week to ensure the artillery Marines are fully taken care of.
