The Soldiers learn the lightweight, rugged system can expel five gallons of water into as much as 350 gallons of pressurized foam for a distance of up to 40 feet.

Sgt. Jeffrey Sone, a unit armorer and Dallas native, installs a chain in the new arms room constructed by the 317th Maintenance Company, 553rd Combat Sustainment Support Battalion, 10th Sustainment Brigade, on March 8. Echo Company, 949th Brigade Support Battalion, 10th Sustainment Brigade, National Guard Soldiers, from Lubbock, Texas, wear their beanies sewn for them by the Operation Shoebox Team, Jan. 31. They gladly pose for a thank you letter to be sent to the caring team. Little mementos like hand sewn beanies help to boost the Soldiers morale by showing that people back in the U.S. care and have not forgotten about them.
