Arms Room Security

Sgt. Jeffrey Sone, a unit armorer and Dallas native, installs a chain in the new arms room constructed by the 317th Maintenance Company, 553rd Combat Sustainment Support Battalion, 10th Sustainment Brigade, on March 8. The chain is being installed to secure the weapons racks and all sensitive items in Echo Company, 949th Brigade Support Battalion's, 553rd CSSB, 10th SBDE arms room.

Operation Shoebox Recipients

Echo Company, 949th Brigade Support Battalion, 10th Sustainment Brigade, National Guard Soldiers, from Lubbock, Texas, wear their beanies sewn for them by the Operation Shoebox Team, Jan. 31. They gladly pose for a thank you letter to be sent to the caring team. Little mementos like hand sewn beanies help to boost the Soldiers morale by showing that people back in the U.S. care and have not forgotten about them.
