John Hyland, Charlotte, N.C., is reunited with Soldiers from 6th Squadron, 9th Cavalry Regiment, Forward Operating Base Sykes during Operation Proper Exit, a program to bring wounded warriors back to Iraq to visit the areas they had previously served. Hyland was injured, Sept. 11, 2007. His left leg was amuptated below the knee.
