Aviva Reinhardt, 455 AEW Judge Advocate law office superintendent, on Bagram Air Field, Afghanistan, Aug. 8. Reinhardt, stationed at Scott Air Force Base, Ill., provided essential professional legal advice and services, ensuring the highest degree of mission effectiveness for the 455th Air Expeditionary Wing, the 466th Air Expeditionary Group and the 504th Expeditionary Air Support Operations Group. The Leavenworth, Wash., native also processed more than 100 requests for purchase Form 9s during her deployment, worth more than $4.7 million, and wrote two Bagram Brief legal articles.

Arellano, a native of Fargo, N.D., stationed at Hector Air National Guard Base, N.D., expertly coordinated an outside-the-wire mission where he installed armored guard facilities worth more than $150,000 at key Afghanistan National Police checkpoints. This action strengthened the airfield’s outer security ring and prevented threats from reaching the installation. Additionally, he led 82 joint service personnel in multiple tasks to harden Bagram Air Field’s perimeter.

Campana, a native of Ewa, Hawaii, stationed at Offutt Air Force Base, Neb., singlehandedly issued more than 1.1 million gallons of jet fuel to 693 aircraft in less than three months, and bested his peers to the fuels flight's "Million Gallon Club" by one month. His attention to detail was shown when documenting all transactions, and maintaining 100 percent accuracy of $4.1 million of jet fuel, saving the Fuels Service Center more than 150 hours processing transactions to Defense Logistics Agency Energy.
