  • 1st Sgt. Gary Coates, from Columbia, S.C., and the first sergeant for Headquarters and Headquarters Co., 751st Combat Sustainment Support Battalion, 96th Sustainment Brigade, 13th Sustainment Command, (Expeditionary), was awarded the Bronze Star Medal during the awards ceremony which was held for the advance party back to the states. The battalion is wrapping up for mission complete and is heading home in the weeks to come.
