Capt. Michael Barnes passes the unit guidon of the 1194th Engineer Company to Lt. Col. Jennifer Mitchell July 12 at Camp Sherman in Chillicothe. The passing of the guidon is a ceremonial transfer of command from one commander to the next. With the passing of the guidon, Barnes officially ends his two-year tour as commander of the Chillicothe-based unit. Barnes’ successor is 1st Lt.
