Soldiers from B Company, 1st Battalion, 207th Aviation Regiment, Alaska Army National Guard, are airlifting the U.S. Forest Service’s Lassen Interagency Hotshot Crew of Susanville, Calif., from Palmer, Alaska, to the vicinity of the Susitna River and Wantana Creek, some 100 miles northeast, to relieve Bureau of Land Management smoke jumpers already on-scene.
