An Alaska Army National Guard UH-60L Black Hawk helicopter, piloted by soldiers from B Company, 1st Battalion, 207th Aviation Regiment, airlifts members of the U.S. Forest Service’s Lassen Interagency Hotshot Crew of Susanville, Calif., from Palmer Airport, June 28, 2013. The 21-member IHC was transported some 100 miles northeast, near the vicinity of the Susitna River and Wantana Creek, to relieve Bureau of Land Management smoke jumpers already on-scene.
