Lt. Cmdr. Mary Graves, embarked aboard the amphibious assault ship USS Boxer, takes photos of a sand filter used to clean river water for a small neighborhood near the City of Sayan in the Huacho region of Peru during a Continuing Promise 2008 evaluation of the needs of the community. Boxer is deployed supporting the Pacific phase of Continuing Promise, an equal partnership mission between the United States, Guatemala, El Salvador and Peru.
