Marines show appreciation for 115 years of commitment from ’Docs’

A corpsman with Battalion Landing Team 2nd Battalion, 4th Marines, 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit, winds up to bowl during a celebration of the Hospital Corps’ 115th birthday at the bowling center here, June 19. The birthday was celebrated with an appreciation lunch, showing the gratitude that the Marines have for the corpsmen’s role in supporting a Marine infantry unit. The 31st MEU is the only continuously forward-deployed MEU and is the Marine Corps’ force in readiness in the Asia-Pacific region.
