U.S. Marine Corps Forces, Europe and Africa     

Lance Cpl. Kalab Johnson, the embarkation chief for Special-Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force Crisis Response and Pirre Part, La. native, was awarded the Navy Achievement Medal for coordinating multiple logistic efforts across carious agencies aboard Moron Air Base, May 7, 2013, in order to provide the main body of the task force with what it needed to be effective upon arrival. The SP-MAGTF will initially be located in Moron, Spain, within reach of the West African region, allowing the force to be readily available for rapid crisis response and to defend U.S. security interests.
