U.S. Navy Explosive Ordnance Disposal Mobile Unit 2 perform diving operations to raise a mine off the ocean floor during a scenario for Frontier Sentinel, an annual maritime homeland security exercise taking place in the northern Atlantic. The joint interagency exercise involves the Canadian navy and U.S. Navy and U.S. Coast Guard, as well as numerous other federal, state, and local agencies in the detection, assesment and responce to a maritime security threats.
