Thomas McGrath, a 20-year-old native of Galveston, Texas, shows Solomon Carrillo, 9-year-old and a native of Rancho Santa Margarita, Calif., the proper procedures of clearing the weapon system. Carrillo and others from the community came to Ranchofest 2013 to show their support for the Marines of 2nd Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment. Rancho Santa Margarita is the official adoptive city of 2nd Bn., 5th Marines.
