Sgt. Brian Gougler, Sentinel, Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, 3d U.S. Infantry Regiment (The Old Guard), places a rose at one of the four crypts of the Unknowns following his last walk ceremony, Jun. 6, in Arlington National Cemetery, Va. Placing a rose at the foot of each crypt signifies a sentinels' last and final honor before leaving the Tomb. Gougler, who will work for the commanding general of the Military District of Washington at his next assignment, served at the Tomb of the Unknown for 23 months. (U.S. Army photo by Staff Sgt.
