Spc. Dallas Sampey, a combat medic from Baton Rouge, La., assigned to 2nd Platoon, Battery A, 4th Battalion, 42nd Field Artillery Regiment, attached to the 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division, Multi-National Division - Baghdad, scans across the Tigris River for enemy activity June 3 in the Karkh neighborhood of Baghdad. The "Straight Arrows" Battalion is part of the 1st Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, serving a 15-month deployment in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.
