U.S. Air Force Lt. Col. Mark Smith, a C-17 Globemaster III pilot with the 315th Airlift Wing (AW), approaches a KC-135 Stratotanker aircraft to conduct aerial refueling April 10, 2013, near Joint Base Charleston, S.C., during exercise Furious Moose.
