Marine team makes winning sprint toward Chairman’s Cup during 2013 Warrior Games

Marine veteran Cpl. Jimenez of New Britain, Conn., placed first in the competition winning a gold medal. The above the arm amputee was injured while deployed to Marjah, Afghanistan. He will also compete in cycling and swimming during the Games. The Warrior Games are a Paralympic-style competition for wounded, ill or injured service members or veterans of U.S. and British armed services.
