Tech. Sgt. Ryan Schnepf, staff contracting officer from 12th Air Force Headquarters, takes a phone call with a local Belize contractor. The Task Force Mahogany contracting team has administered 20 contracts totaling 145 contract actions for purchases of construction materials, medical supplies, and lodging and transportation requirements in support of an exercise known as New Horizons. New Horizons is a training exercise providing medical and dental treatment as well as constructs needed structures, such as classrooms, throughout Belize. It gives U.S., Belizean and Canadian service members the opportunity to train side-by-side in an exercise setting in order to be prepared to meet future challenges. (U.S. Air Force photo/Capt.
