Lance Cpl. Jerrol Guidry climbs a communications tower to conduct preventative maintenance at the 8th Communication Battalion compound at Camp Leatherneck, Afghanistan, April 18. Guidry, along with three other Marines are responsible for keeping Internet and phone communications running for Camp Leatherneck, Camp Dwyer and a myriad of other patrol and forward operating bases in Helmand and Nimroz Provinces. After a recent thunderstorm, the Marines climbed the 150-foot tall tower to help restore communications.
