Marine Corps Air Station Yuma commanding officer Col. Robert Kuckuk presents Gunnery Sgt. Rene Hernandez, Marine Wing Support Squadron 371 environmental compliance officer and native of Lockhart, Texas, an award for his environmental contributions aboard Marine Corps Air Station Yuma, Ariz., April 22. After the award was presented, Kuckuk remarked on the importance of Hernandez’s contributions. “Without people like you keeping our ranges clean and environmental friendly, we lose a vital part of training,” said Kuckuk.
