    Col. Scott F. Benedict, the commanding officer of the 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit, presents a Meritorious Service Medal to Master Gunnery Sgt. Donald Iskerka, the unit's operations chief, during a retirement ceremony Apr. 19, 2013 at Camp Lejeune, N.C. Iskerka, a native of Wayne, Mich., joined the Marine Corps on June 11, 1986 and is retiring after 27 years of service.
