Families find common ground on greens

Gunnery Sgt. Jason G. More than 200 participants competed in this year’s 14th annual golf tournament on Cherry Point and Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, N.C.

Kevin Morris, an intelligence officer with Marine Air Control Group 38 and an Anaheim, Calif., native, putts during the MACG-38 Golf Outing fund raiser at the Marine Corps Air Station Miramar Memorial Golf Course aboard MCAS Miramar, Calif., to raise money for the Injured Marines Semper Fi Fund, Aug. 3. In addition to the Golf tournament, there was a silent auction and raffle to raise money for the non-profit organization.
