Albert Rosa tells his story of time spent in concentration camps during World War II to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Los Angeles District, Los Angeles, Calif., April 9, 2013. Rosa was among Holocaust survivors liberated by U.S. Service members from the Kaufering concentration camps in Bavaria, Germany. According to a profile on the JewishJournal.com website, he was given a uniform and did medic runs for the Allies, earning several medals including a Purple Heart.
