Ironhorse soldiers learn applicable leadership, mental skills

Augusta, Ga., native, Staff Sgt. Lynn Pollard, an intelligence analyst assigned to Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 2nd Battalion, 8th Cavalry Regiment, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division, completes a word search exercise during the Mental Fitness Obstacle Course #2 portion of a Leader Development Course April 4 near the Comprehensive Soldier and Family Fitness Training Facility at Fort Hood, Texas. The CSF2-LDC obstacle course encouraged the students to use their newly taught skills to complete various stations in which contain physical and cognitive tasks.
