Col. Barry J. Fitzpatrick Jr., the commander of the School of Infantry East presents the Instructor of the Year Award to Sgt. Joseph M. Perez, an Infantry Training Battalion instructor during the 20th Annual Instructor of the Year Luncheon at the United Service Organizations in Jacksonville April 4 for standing out amongst his peers. Perez was one of eleven instructors awarded.
