Staff Sgt. Loretta Streichert, a military police canine handler with the 100th Military Working Dog Detachment, lets her dog, Edo, sniff out a suspicious package during a training exercise on force protection at Camp Bondsteel, Kosovo. During the portion of the exercise, two disgruntled former Camp Bondsteel employees open fire in one of the gyms. One leaves the gym on foot, carrying an awkward bag that he tosses when the MPÕs approach him. Streichert, a native of Norwich, N.Y., is called in for Edo's services. Edo sniffs out the bag, which turns out to be full of explosives. (U.S. Army photo by Sgt. Angela Parady, 121st Public Affairs Detachment)
