Col. Charles H. Klinge, commander, Fort Worth District, with Dallas City Manager Mary Suhm, helped brief new 33rd District U.S. Rep. Marc Veasey Tuesday on the latest Trinity River Corridor Project developments at the Trinity Center in Dallas. Major parts of the Trinity River Basin are in his district, which includes portions of both Dallas and Fort Worth. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers partners with the city of Dallas on a variety of projects within the Dallas Floodway System that reduce flood risk, create wetland wildlife habitat and provide recreational opportunities.
