Convoy Commander, 1st. Lt. Nawaf Homajin Safar, a transportation officer for the Kuwaiti National Guard, briefs a convoy mission to U.S. and Kuwaiti soldiers, March 12, 2013, at Camp Buehring, Kuwait. Transportation soldiers of the KNG and the 47th Transportation Company, Fort Bliss, Texas, teamed up for a combined convoy exercise, Operation Steel Sentinel. For the event, both the KNG and U.S. soldiers worked together on the convoy driving lanes on the Udairi Range Complex near Camp Buehring.
