Remembering the Fallen: the battle of An Nasiriyah

Brooklyn, N.Y., native, Lt. Col. David Sosa, the battalion commander for 1st Battalion, 2nd Marine Regiment, speaks to gathered family, friends and Marines at a memorial ceremony for the 10th anniversary of the battle of An Nasiriyah during Operation Iraqi Freedom. Sosa, who was the battalion’s operations officer during the battle in March 2003, spoke passionately about the sacrifice made by 18 of the battalion’s Marines.
