U.S. and Royal Thai Marines and sailors practice tourniquet techniques during a combat lifesaver class Feb. 18 in Chonburi province, Kingdom of Thailand, part of exercise Cobra Gold 2013. The U.S. service members are part of Combat Logistics Regiment 3, 3rd Marine Logistics Groups, III Marine Expeditionary Force. Exercise Cobra Gold includes humanitarian and civic assistance projects, a staff exercise and field training exercises. Joint and multinational training is vital to maintaining the readiness and interoperability of all participating military forces.
