Soldiers ‘jump rope for heart’ with Richmond Hill students

Spc. Isaiah Sims, a native of Detroit, and a combat engineer for the 2-3 Brigade Special Troops Battalion “Titans”, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division, gives the word “GO!” as a student takes off through an obstacle course set up at the Richmond Hill Elementary School, Feb. 26. The Soldiers and students are participating in just one of the many activities held during the Jump Rope For Heart event held at the school today and the day prior. According to the American Heart Association, “Jump Rope For Heart is a fun event where you can jump rope, learn about your heart and how to keep it healthy, while raising money for the American Heart Association.” If you would like to help them or any other team raise money for the American Heart Association, go to www.heart.org/jump and search for your team and donate today!
