Relief Mission to Burma

Various national and international media representatives ask questions of U.S. Ambassador to Thailand Eric G. John May 12. John, along with the U.S. Agency for International Development Administrator Henrietta H. Fore and U.S. Pacific Commander Admiral Timothy J. Keating answered questions during a press event before a flight with Cyclone Nargis relief supplies took off. The flight was the first Nargis aid distribution mission for the U.S. military, which was requested by the Burma governing authority to distribute needed humanitarian aid.
