The group of Marines and sailors ascended more than 3,500 feet during the hike up Mount Etna, the tallest active volcano in Europe. Special-Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force Africa conducts security force assistance and military-to-military engagements throughout Africa in support of Marine Forces Africa and U.S. Africa Command.
