(From left to right) Wilfredo Izaguirre, Jeff Skeans, Steven Taylor, and Andrew Moore watch as Lance Cpl. Hector L. DeJesus edits their video they shot at the Cherry Point station combat camera studio during job shadow day, Feb. 20. The students came to the air station to shadow Marines daily duties, learning from on hand experiences. "This was a great day," said Izaguirre, a junior at West Carteret High School. "I loved producing a promotion video for our school's (Navy Junior Reserve Officers Training Corps), watching the video being edited was awesome." Skeans, Taylor and Moore are all seniors at West Carteret High School. DeJesus is a combat videographer with Headquarters and Headquarters Squadron. "This event shows the students of the surrounding area a chance to get some hands on experiences with possible job fields," said Donna Bagley, the school liaison officer for Cherry Point. "One of two things will happen here, the students will come here and either enjoy what they do and reassure their career field; or they decide to go another career path."
