Sewing is free to soldiers

U.S. Soldiers with the 295th Quartermaster Company, 593rd Sustainment Brigade, spend the day repairing uniforms and attaching nametapes from cold weather gear to rucksacks at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Wash., Feb. 20, 2013. Members of the Clothing and Repair Shop provided minor services, such as sewing on nametapes, rank and skill identifier badges on uniforms free of charge. In addition to fixing uniforms, the repair shop will fix Humvee soft-skin doors. (U.S. Army photo by Sgt. Austan Owen/Released)
