Multinational forces observe, train for culminating live-fire exercise

Royal Thai soldiers observe U.S. Army soldiers firing at targets during a fire and maneuver exercise Feb. 15 at a training range in Ban Dan Lan Hoi District, Sukhothai province, Kingdom of Thailand, as part of exercise Cobra Gold 2013. Cobra Gold, in its 32nd iteration, is a multinational exercise that promotes regional prosperity, security and cooperation among partner militaries. Thai soldiers are with 7th Regiment, 7th Division, 3rd Region, Royal Thai Army. The U.S. soldiers are with 1st Platoon, Baker Company, 2nd Battalion, 9th Infantry Regiment, 1st Armored Brigade Combat Team, 2nd Infantry Division out of Camp Casey, Republic of Korea.
