Arcadia fifth-grader invites special guest for lunch

When Joe Ringer was named Student of the Week at Hamilton Heights Elementary School in Arcadia, Ind., he was able to invite anyone he wanted to come have lunch with him at school. He decided to invite Indiana Adjutant General Maj. Gen. R. Martin Umbarger. The general happily accepted the invitation and had lunch with Joe, Feb. 8, 2013. Umbarger is pictured here with Joe and his mother, retired Indiana National Guard Sgt. 1st Class Mary Ringer. (Photo by Sgt. 1st Class Matt Scotten)
