The Home Guard of Norway offers a hospitable stay at Camp Vaernes to Minnesota National Guard troops who are participating in the 40th annual Norwegian Exchange. NOREX is a reciprocal troop program during which Norwegian soldiers spend two weeks training at Camp Ripley, Minn. and Minnesota troops in turn train at Camp Vaernes, Norway.
