Kathy Lynn, chief instructor of Dynamic Self Defense International, demonstrates a slap punch to students during the Personal Safety and Self Defense workshop April 3 at Ft. McPherson. The U.S. Army Central Equal Opportunity Office sponsored workshops throughout the month of April in observation of Sexual Assault Awareness Month. Students were taught both mental and physical techniques to use if ever faced with an attack.
