Brush a blaze as part of a Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune prescribed burn onboard the base Jan. 22. Prescribed burns are lit and managed by the Forestry Department as a way to manage excess underbrush and enhance the wildlife habitat for the many species of animals aboard the base.
