Kandahar Air Wing Gains New MEDEVAC Trainers

Sergeant 1st Class Abdul Majid Watandoost, right, a senior medical instructor at the Kandahar Air Wing, receives an emergency medicine reference book from Capt. Clint Lowe, the area support platoon leader from Co. C, Task Force Knighthawk, 2nd Battalion, 3rd Aviation Regiment, after the culminating exercise of a four-week tactical combat casualty care and basic life support training course Jan. 4 at Kandahar Airfield, Afghanistan. The course certified Watandoost and one other graduate as trainers in casualty care and life support, allowing them to train and certify other medics at the KAW.
