US senators visit ISAF service members in Afghanistan

International Security Assistance Force service members and Texas natives from Regional Command-South wait to greet Senator-elect Ted Cruz, R-TX, during a congressional visit Jan. 14 to Kandahar Airfield, Afghanistan. Cruz was part of a delegation of five senators who visited Afghanistan to discuss regional developments and meet with U.S. military personnel.
