U.S. Army Sgt. Thaddeus Hendershot, center uncovered, a security force team member for Provincial Reconstruction Team (PRT) Farah, delivers a pre-mission brief on FOB Farah before a mission to meet the Farah City mayor in Farah City, Jan. 13. This was the first meeting with the mayor since he took office, and was an opportunity for leaders to discuss governance and socioeconomic development issues and initiatives in the municipality. PRT Farah's mission is to train, advise, and assist Afghan government leaders at the municipal, district, and provincial levels in Farah province Afghanistan.
