New York Army National Guard Honor Guard conducts 10,200 military funerals in 2012

A New York Military Forces Honor Guard team carries the casket of New York Army National Guard 1st Lt. Joseph Theinert, who was killed in action in Afghanistan while serving with the 10th Mountain Division, during his funeral on June 11, 2010. By the end of 2012, the New York Military Forces Honor Guard is expected to participate in 10,200 funerals for veterans.
