They aren’t searching for lost treasure

Spc. Stephen Logue (right), a native of Okla., and a combat engineer for the 530th Engineer Company “Bloodhounds”, 92nd Engineer Battalion, attached to the 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division, uses a Minehound to search an area for improvised explosive devices while another Soldier pulls security behind him during a training exercise here Dec. 5. . The Minehound is a relatively new piece of equipment, and serves as both a ground penetrating radar as well as a metal detector. This training was just a small part of a three-day, nine-event training exercise that the 530th has conducted to better assess and develop the necessary skills within the soldiers of the only route clearance company in all of Fort Stewart.
