Marine Corps Community Services presents a $2,000 check to Field Medical Training Battalion West for outstanding volunteer work at Camp Pendleton, Calif., Nov. 30. FMTB-West provided more than 200 volunteers during the Hard Corps Race Series 2012. The corpsmen who volunteered primarily provided medical assistance to competitors during and after the race. Marine Corps Community Services chose Petty Officer 1st Class Adam Clayton, a corpsman and instructor with FMTB-West, to receive the award on behalf of the battalion and to recognize him for his efforts and involvement in the series.
