Rapid ground refueling on Tinian

Marines transfer fuel between bladders at Tinian’s West Field Dec. 3 during Exercise Forager Fury 2012. The fuel bladder is one of three set up at the expeditionary fuel point here. Each fuel bladder can hold up to 20,000 gallons of fuel and is surrounded by a containment berm that can hold up to 30,000 gallons. The Marines are Bulk Fuel Specialist with Marine Wing Support Squadron 171, Marine Aircraft Group 12, 1st Marine Aircraft Wing, III Marine Expeditionary Force. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Sgt.
